The Photography committee photographs all events leading up to The Fashion Show, and the show itself. They do a variety of exercises with their committee members to get them comfortable behind the lens. Some of these exercises include taking photos of each other and other TFS members throughout campus. Some of the TFS events photographed include Philanthropic events, Meet The Judges, Merchandise photos, Garment photos, Committee photos, and much more. Pictures are worth 1,000 words, so being able to photograph the show and events leading up to it is super special and rewarding. Photography works closely with all committees to showcase what they work on throughout the year, which ensures that nobody’s work goes unnoticed! Lastly, as a committee they edit and perfect photos, so everyone has a chance to view their amazing work.
Every year, students have opportunity to showcase student designs in the Iowa State University Fashion Show. It's one of the largest student-produced and promoted events in the nation with Producers, Directors, and Committee Members, totaling around 130 students!
